So jealous! I havn't been able to get my BSFLs back for a few years. They came and went fantastically and now they have gone. Chooks loved them but fish were not interested in them. I even tried getting them started at BYAP about 5 years ago but very hard to introduce them to a new area as they never took off.
I had thousands of them and not one now. The free range chooks may have something to do with this I have a Biopod and keep trying but it is getting a bit cool now.

Would gold fish eat them?

I plan on only running goldies for next couple of years in new system....still being designed.

Might be a bit big for gold fish, maybe dry them and crunch them before feeding. Our gold fish feeds on barramundi pellets and they are growing well. The flake food from the shops only keeps them alive but wouldn't be good for aquaponics.
