When you pull up on the inner bell, does it feel like it has a suction that breaks?

Fill rate is fast enough that it can't 'burp' to break and keeps dribbling. Drill another hole a bit higher to see if that fixes?

Also, do you have a vent pipe to further aid in break by not allowing back pressure to build up of you have multiple beds connected?

Back your flow off a little

Not enough water flow: the siphon won't start.
Too much water flow: the siphon won't stop.

Is the GB remaining flooded or drained?... You may have gone to far with reducing the flow and now the siphon won't initiate.

Are the seven beds all tied to one circuit?

What size is the pipe you have beds connected to for the drain line.

If small drain line, maybe it is the first to start but can't quite complete before the next one kicks in and cant 'burp' b/c the next bed is flowing?

Drill the break a bit higher.

I remember trying 6 beds and ended up making two circuits (2 and 4). I also went through and made all the standpipe the same level (overkill yes, needed, don't know)

I currently have two beds flowing constant that will not kick off with bell. I just manually start when walking by.
