Selling my set up as I have too many hobbies to pay it the attention it deserves.

Asking $3000, over $5000 spent, more than $1000 in expanded clay media alone!

8000L of Fish tanks made up of 1 x 4500L fibreglass tank and 1 x 3500L aqualined zinc corrugated iron tank current set up allows the taller tank to overflow via a SLO to the lower tank so that two species or different aged fish can be kept at the same time.

Grow beds are 2 x 1000L aqualined zinc corrugated iron 1800mm diameter 400mm high filled with 100% Canna Aqua brand expanded clay media.

Sump tank is ~1000L square poly tank, similar dimensions to an IBC but much more durable.

Dual pump setup with the main pump being a Grunfos brand 8,500L/Hr float activated pump and the back up pump is of unknown brand but is also 8,500L/Hr and float activated.

Airation is via "Koi Air 45"diaphragm air pump which is currently not working due to needing new diaphragms.

The good thing about science is that you don't have to believe in it for it to be right.

Update

The air pump is a Blagdon KA25 and is now working as I have replaced the diaphragms.
