You are getting there mate! now next question should be..... what feeding ration per square meter are you running your system and from that you should be able to calculate you grow area.
If you ask me about my feeding ration x square meter is way below what UVI utilise(almost half that)

You are correct the amount of feed to amount square meter of canopy area, I all ways use the 2 : 1 but I also find it lacking.

Lets use 100g of fish feed for 1m2 of lettuce. Taken from here ag.arizona.edu/.../Water%20Quality%20in%20Aquaponic%20Systems%20-...

So ...........

Total feed for stocking weight=1983kgs/220 days=540kgs/60 days
From then on you must add 674kg/ 60 days

I will use 60 days as a lettuce crop. So i need 674m2 or about (4) 300 ×8 grow beds

Wrong numbers I used I should of used 540kgs= 24 by 24 size canopy.

Or 3 eight foot wide by 23 long grow beds, I am thinking about using lime trees. Has any one done this before?
