North Alabama got a system going started with 2 4x8 grow beds and a 275 fish tank in the garage. finished building 24 by 50 foot green house moved system out side added 2 more 4x8 grow beds and moved to a 325 fish tank. Added a swirl filter and a 3x8 reserve tank that goes back into fish tank. Also in the planning of heating my green house and water basically for free gonna try to perfect this winter hoping to grow year round.And add 2 or 3 more systems in the same green house.

I am in SW AL and I am building a greenhouse next month and hope to grow several different species inside one greenhouse all with separate systems. I have been researching for 8 years, and finally have the time and funds to do this. I will be starting with creek minnows to learn a bit before I invest in the fish, while I build my systems and get them cycling. I have never seen a system in person. Have car, can travel, would love to visit and see some systems if anyone is so inclined to extend their hospitality.

Hi, is anyone actively doing aquaponics in the Central Al area that I could visit before setting up my own system?

Chilton, Shelby, or Birmingham area?
