Hey all,

Looks like there have not been too many posts here for a while, but I was wondering if anyone is out there listening. I'm in the process of setting up my first system and definitely don't want to reinvent the wheel. At the moment I have just been setting up my site (see link in signature). I'm north of the river (Padbury). I would be interested in any get togethers to share info. Cheers

Hi Doc :wave1:

Down Gosnells way , I'm a long time hydroponics grower , new into aquaponics .

I've a smaller aquaponics system growing cucumbers , the fish are gambesi , some chichlids and the one remaining koi .

I'm slowly building two IBC systems at the moment .

Best bet if you head down freeway is to check out the Cheidys BYAP in Jandakot just off Berrigan Drive (turn left off freeway southbound). They have quite a few things set up there and can give you some ideas.

Thanks for the replies, good to hear from you! Definately check that Jandakot one out when I can.

Hi All

I'm in Bridgetown in the SW, I have been running a small cut and flip IBC for the last 8 months and I am in the process of planning an expansion.

Hello
6012

I'm relatively new to aquaponics (6 months) using a 1350Lt with 1 growbed
Raising marron with limited success. I have recently cleaned the system out after 6 month of natural filtration. That is, the water being filtered through the growled only. Hopefully that will stem the current sudden mortality rate.

Hey Tom,

Mosman Park.. that's my old stomping grounds.

Not much info to go on, I think you will need more details on your system and how many animals you are trying to keep. What pump size, grow bed size, type of media. Some photos would be good, but perhaps you have already posted this in a more appropriate part of the forum?

Cheers
