Are the high/lows close to each other or at opposite ends?

If opposite ends, could work without having to do the whole surface, just have a possible slope and not being level (as a ball rolls) but not affecting walking around.

5/8 is not that much in the grand scheme, providing the difference is spread out.

If you could provide a picture so I can see differences and recommend as best as I can without being there.

These seem more like dips in the middle

I'll have Nell pick up some self leveling cement to fill in the two hollows.

If those are the only two spots, should be golden.

Just let me know A. S. A. P! Wife just informed me of her latest plan to travel......

Oh, what is the length x width of the tile?

Do you want to run as a running bond pattern (like the joints on cmu block) or on a 45°?

Had to create an area to store firewood. Was the easiest solution I could think of.

Just letting things be in the system. I have my MBBR on a nice, gentle boil. The tank water is clear and I am slowly getting the FT clean of all its algae.

I am torn between whether I would enclose the other side or not if it were me... I think it would be nice to have both options where when the weather is nice you can sit in the open area but when the weather is crap you can sit in the closed area (but when the weather is crap you'll have the enclosed area full of wood... so then you need the other side enclosed to sit in...) tough call... maybe make it removable for summer time (I guess it's removable in the sense you just pull the screws back out... but I'm thinking more along the lines of some decks I've seen people screen them in then have removable panels that they put on for winter time, when its nice they have the panels off so they have a screen room).

Deck used to be completely open until I had to trim out columns and add railing before listing property for sale.

Wife is against the other side and it is only for winter time. I might put a small partition wall to further minimize snow blowing in as well as a place to keep generator on standby for when power goes out.

Next is making all the repairs to the Coop.....

But first...... Tune in tomorrow for update......
