I hate it..

I had an update almost ready to Rock When I deleted the tab.... and Lost everything.. Photo's the work's..

So here I go again..

I think I said that I have everything hooked up and running water wise..The circle is complete as the whole system goes..
Water flows where I want it to flow and the Air-lift works great..

Ok so here is What I have done so far..

GB#4 has hydroton in it.. and I found a very funny thing, was not planing on it, but I have an Auto siphon..
The water levels drop down 4-5" with out even trying..
Works good..

Mmmm Yabbies..

As a Kid When we used to camp on the upper Goulburn River and dredge for Gold every 2-3 days I would put on the flippers, grab my snorkel/mask and the gloves and dive for Yabbies..

It was a great way to get a feed..

Definitely not diving in there..

I like to see what I'm facing..

Thought my own fish tank is not clear.. it has a slight green ting..
The walls are growing algae..
I'll have to set-up a small S&G filter and see if that will clear the Green ting from the water..

Maybe if you set-up a truck load of Filtration you could clear out the mud and see the bottom.... LOL

I got the green stuff fairly quickly in the start too although it eventually changed to brown (biofilm) which is good. Shade is your friend obviously for the green water.

Yes I know I need to shade the system..

The shade part will come from the making of the new fence, as part of the new Fence I'm planing on putting in the roof supports and fully shade the Tank and that whole area..

For sale One slightly water soiled [damaged] Air-pump..

It's in pieces and is drying out..
Needs a bit of Solider work, but hopefully will work again..

As you can guess I drowned my Air Pump, lost about 1000lt out of the system..
- Need to install an over flow system in the various tanks Back to the sump..

Damn what was that site for the new air pump..

had a fun day today..

Put an over flow into the Media filter and I don't think it is big enough..
I installed a 50mm pipe and it just does not seem right, ran a few tests and it get close to overflowing.. if I had air on I know that I would have media all over the place..

I'm sort of Think'n I might need to go 90mm..

Any idea's..

I have fish..

Got 25 but 6 did not make it..
- I think there was a problem with the O2 from the Farm as in I don't think there was enough in the bag..

The heat outside might not of helped but the Car had Aircon running from the time we got to the farm till we got home..

I'll get another batch of fish in late march and then a Batch in April..

I like the Farm.. Especially the Ghost trout they are breeding..

Oh yeah Water temps in the Tank 22deg C at the surface..
