this is my blue barrel system i put 100L of water in the fish tank and have 50L of clay in the grow bed the stand is temporary as i dont think its weather proof im gonna try growing some chilly, chives, parsley, thyme, basil, and oregano. as for fish im going to have natives a yabbie or two some glass shrimp and some fresh water muscles

the only space i have outside is a small balcony that even a balcony system is to big for i tried some small systems inside but that just made me want one even more. so yesterday i made this one with help from faye with the design. im still not sure about the stand does anyone know a simple way to support the gb

That's fantastic, the blue drums are top value i reckon! The only problem with the stand might be if the shelf is MDF which gets pretty soggy if it gets a lot of water exposure, ply wood would be a better material

Good point Gazza...... We might have some form ply offcuts that will do nicely for that Nat, they last a bit better in the weather..

So how many fish/shrimp and what sort are they?

40 zebra danios and two serves of glass shrimp thats probs about 40 shrimp but they arent counted just scooped
