what are you going to use it for

long needs support tall needs less support but is smaller

I would do tomatoes in tall half barrels. I don't know if i have a reason its just what I would do:grin:

So the plan was to make a full system out of only one blue barrel clay and a pump. It still is but was wondering on your thoughts about using welding rods instead of strips of blue barrel do you think it would be cheating? So far its all been barrel

Lol yep i already have a few drawn up. The spiral one i think would be most reliable but huge the one I would really like to make is the piston one I have drawn up at work. even thought about using bits of barrel for media

So we have had these kale plants a while now. And they are getting a bit out of control and a mess as we've not really used much in the last month or so.

Im thinking about trying to cut them back to. But i don't want to cut them cos they worked so hard to get that long. Ill just start with one and see how it goes I guess.

Get yourself a super blender and make some green smoothies - Kale, Mint, Ice, Oranges, bananas, chia seeds etc
