Townhomes remind me of those chicken warehouses-rows upon rows of cages upon cages. I prefer to live free-range, myself.

Pretty scary, the thread is already to 6 pages and there isn't really even anything about AP to put in it yet.

Somehow, I am finding more than enough to do in my townhome. But then my townhome feels more like a house than most houses in San Diego, and I don't have to mow a lawn or maintain the pool. More time for AP.

Sure there is... We are chiming in to convince you to buy a bucket tractor with fork attachments to move the growbeds full of gravel, bush hog to clear land for a greenhouse, a backhoe to dig out a pit for the fish tank(s), dig holes with a posthole digger, ... what more AP could you want? LOL

Just use your time to make a plan, then you can work the plan when you get time to do the work. Sometimes the planning takes longer than the actual work. But it is worth it in my opinion. Sure wish I could come down and help you out

If you are in Apopka FL, you can swing by Aquatic Eco Systems and get some right there. Otherwise order them online and they generally drop ship pretty quickly.

There are plenty of plumbing supply places to get PVC and fittings but I don't know what would be local for you. Of course the big box stores have plumbing and irrigation stuff too.

So how to design a farm layout? I'm finding myself kinda going in circles. See I don't have the funds to go super big with greenhouses and all right off (and I need to be a producing farm before I can get the Agricultural waiver for building agricultural buildings anyway.) And how to lay things out to be more efficient is a big thing. I've noticed at home (old one) that I spent way too much time going back and forth since everything just kinda got wedged in where it could. But now I have lots of space and am having a terrible time figuring out how to lay things out.

There is a sunny patch out past the North end of the Fish Shed (what we are calling it since it's NOT A BARN anymore.) So I'm figuring the New Big/tower system will have it's fish tank in the North End of the Shed and pipes will run out to the sunny area of the field where troughs and towers will go. So I guess I'm looking for some ideas that might help efficiency/comfort concerning where to place the seedling house and planting tables while still keeping things easily accessible for market trailer and access for tractor to move around.

Got a picture of the end of the fish shed showing door locations and such? And maybe another pic looking away from the shed?
