I had a 1.8m fish tank that one of my friends wanted so he offered me a jacuzzi and I swapped cause the tank broke one time and I fixed it, so to me it was like it's not the same tank any more. So lying around I had three bath tubs that I used in my saltwater spa at one time.

So this is what I came up with

The tub was a bit to high so I dropped it

The I started to make it nice

So I started it up but I had no grow media so i got the siphon to work well and then stopped to work on it for a couple of weeks the got lucky I got a couple pangasiuses and a friend of mine with a tilapia farm want to start with pangasius so I swapped him one for a hundred tilapia fingerling's so I had to start up the Jacuzzi again. I had to run it with a small power head filter from my aquarium just to have some form of bio in the system.

It's a 1100L/h pump with ceramic rings and filter sponge

Ok so this weekend I build a filter system but it turned out not to work to well and I decided to add another bath tub the one on top will run flood and drain and the bottom one floating raft.

This as far as I got cause I work when the sun is down.

I thought I planted them in rows ............ they're everywhere :funny1:

Image

The reason for the open end (no gravel) there is a dragonfly nymph in there will fill it up and plant when he's gone.

I like your way, I might have to copy it myself next time I make a raft, which may be sooner than later, as my raft is getting a tad shabby.
