No problems there Bob, the wifes suggested on the week include Curry, Sweet and Sour, pies, lemon Butter and sweet chillie. She is working on a few more? :thumbright:

Major horror this morning, went to the system to check all ok and then around to the sump. Noticed ground wet and saw water coming from a pipe. First thought was the sump was leaking then reconised the pipe as the new line from the bottom rain water tanks. :upset:

Went and turn the tank off but to late, one full tank and one quarter of the second tank gone. About 28,000 litres down the yard and no rain in sight. :bootyshake:

That represented about 60% of the water I had available. Sure hope there are no major water changes coming up in the system.

Still hurting mate. My tank man was there quick enougth. Bl**dy heat is softening the pipe too much and the fittings are poping out. Just have to ensure the tank is turned of unless I am filling up the sump

Thanks Charlie just hope we get good rains soon.

Any way the fingerlings are in, a bit smaller than I expected but they will grow. Funny looking at them in 2200 litres of water but room for growth at lest. Cheers

Update a couple of photos first is the floating basket for the fingerlings. Was going to keep 50 for Blind Freddie for a couple of weeks.

then thought the gaps would be to big so added a second basket inside to close gaps,

As it was the fingerlings were too small so BF collected his fifty otherwise they would have been lost in my tank. This is 50 JP's in about 50mm water in a 9 litre bucket.

You can imagine my 75 swimming around in my tank.

This is the plant growth after 3 weeks on seasol and fish emulsion. The gap in the middle is from 2 Bok Choy I pulled out and feed to the chooks yesterday, they had a grub in them which was eating the plants. The chooks demolished the lot.
