Hey BF can you guys pump sand yabbies in your coastal area? They don't have them in WA so it was a new thing for me when my missus showed me over here, weird little creatures but great for bait

yes mate they are every where around here, the fish love them. I've even brought a few home after fishing trips and fed them to large Jade Perch, they often don't even get to the bottom of the tank before they get hit.

Youl have to get a Yabby pump now mate (Alvey King size :thumbright: )

Yea mate, the good wife bought me a yabbie pump and I gave her a very strange look when she handed it to me. I thought she wanted me to pump the tyres up on the kids bikes or something hahaha. After she explained I still had no idea what she was on about... I had only ever caught yabbies in dams!

Love the elbow idea for your pipe set-up. I might have to file that away for later expansion plans that I'll no doubt have!

Never thought of growing yabbies in the pipes either, though it does make perfect sense! Think I'll have to subscribe to this thread BF :)

wow what a shocker, very hot with dry wind lightening and no rain, our temps were 22 C at 6.30 this morning and got to 37 C at 2Pm. (full shade)

Ive got the unheated system up to 25+ by laying the garden hose out in the sun and pushng some of my water through it.

The other 2 systems with the poly coils are up to 30+, the Jades are feeding so hard they ripped the eye dropper out of my hand when I was getting a water sample.

Time to disconnect the coils soon and get some shade cloth up.

Wow, you're lucky you didn't get dragged in BF! :D

Hope everything is okay with the storm.
