Good to hear you are well Faye, thanks for checking in. I'm happy your system is helping to educate others and good to hear about your nature endeavors as well as the radio show. I met with a local high school that has an Ag program and some hydroponics equipment they are not sure what to do with. I introduced them to AP and hopefully I will continue to help them set up a small AP system and educate the kids.

I also met with a person that hosts a local gardening TV show. She is interested in including my backyard as part of a show next year, so we'll see about that.

Sorry guys, I didn't receive reply notofications @dstjohn99 aquaponics absolutely should be featured so that everybody knows what it is all about. I did my best at making that happen. You've got to do it well and be open about what might go wrong, sharing is everything so that people go on that learning journey with you, sharing the ups and downs. I see that you are from CA USA - we travelled there on a 13 week trip 18 months ago OMG I want to come back one day.
@Frank1069 as for orchids in WA you really must join Native Orchids of Western Australia. I had no idea there were so many. On my Botanic Obsession Facebook page I have an album of native orchids found on our property - now I am discovering Native Bees in WA and set up a Facebook Group for them too - who else knew that we had native bees? I make bee hotels for them. Life is good gardening and talking about gardening and native bees, or fungi to anyone who will listen :)

Great to hear from you Faye.

I have dozens of native bee hives and have motels all around my yard. I love the carpenter and leaf cutters.

Hi Faye, yes I knew we had native bees when I lived in the Pilbara they were everywhere and a lot of people miss took them for flies as they were about the same size but more persistent lol I haven't seen many down here but I am sure there are many varieties. I will look up the orchid page when I get home from work, I have found some but I know I am only scratching the surface. :)
