Well I was going to wait till later in the year to start this thread up but I thought it would be better to share. :)

Having lived in Kalgoorlie for 30 odd years it has come time to move on. Its been on the cards for a few years now but we have finally taken the plunge and purchased a bit of property in northern NSW. Our original plan and dream was to get into a bit of fish/redclaw/yabbie farming on a property that was already set up with dams etc but I feel we are not quite ready to go all out just yet so something a bit smaller to learn and find our feet with was a wiser choice.

This beautiful 5 acre's will be our introduction into the country life that will develop into a bit of a hobby farm with a few animals, big AP system, wicking beds, gardens and dams. Due to work commitments here in Kal we are looking to move to the farm early next year so this thread may be a little slow till then. 2014 is going to be a great adventure.

WooHoo! Man, those work commitments must be pretty strong to keep you from that place for a year. Green, already has a pond, great back porch. I'm sure you can feel my envy all the way from California!

Get my long service at the end of the year Ron, so hanging in there just a bit longer. Its going to be hard.
