Wow that's not bad cheaper then ibc's. How many years of service do you think you will get out of them.

I'm trying to work out what to put on a sloped block of land. Might have to work out how to do some welding.

Growth looks amazing by the way.

It should last for a very long time. 4 years in on my oldest one, and still as strong as day 1.

The biggest is 4m x 1.4m, so that's 6 half IBC's. I love having all that room in the bed.

Probably the best year for tomatoes so far! Playing with the nutrients seems to be working a treat.

Hi Ben.

The last four are indigo rose. They seem to grow very well, no idea about taste yet though.

Indigo Rose was bred here in Oregon (at Oregon State University) and puts out a huge quantity of tomatoes. I had one two or three years ago and it had 135 tomatoes on it a one time. Can't say I liked the flavor that much (I'd still be growing it if I did) but some people apparently do. They're supposed to be good for you as well :thumbright:

Thanks Scotty. I read up the same thing, Another thing I read is that they are deceptive about when they ripen properly. So they don't taste great until they properly ripen, which takes a surprisingly long time.

Haven't tasted them though, so I can't tell you. They do look preddy though.
