the strips are notoriously unreliable mate. Get the drops in a test kit package at a local aquarium. Costs about 30 bucks for a range of about 6 different tests. The pack will last you for ages. Far more reliable readings.

I was talking about the colour card you hold the test tube up to :P I've got one of the API kits :) I think I told you my sister was a microbiologist at Jim's, she would shoot me if I used strips!

Also, I rang Simon from Landmark, and told him of my woes in getting growbeds from any city suppliers... He's pretty much my closest Landmark btw!!!
Because he knew what I wanted, and wanted to sell more, he's DELIVERING to my door, the growbeds you got, for $5 more I think than you paid!!!!! (for delivery no doubt)
And the lead time is less than 2 weeks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
with home delivery!!!!
I am thrilled! :-D

hahaha, that's awesome! He's a real good bloke to deal with! I said I would be sending people his way ;) So thanks for making an honest man of me! :P

Yeah he remembered you, and told me he was hoping you'd sell some for him. :-)
I just can't believe he'd deliver them
I canceled my current order, that was being delayed again... That crew in Adelaide is useless!

Thanks for the tip btw, awefull cheap in the scheme of things.

Yay for Kenny!
If you want, it could be wise to add to a GB thread or start another, maybe in the announcements forum?
Then we can let every1 know, at least until Joel makes his growbeds available in Vic... :-D

Then we'll have to destroy any evidence that these wonderful cheap growbeds ever existed! I'll dispose of Steve at Landmark, you use your l33+ computer skills to haxxor the mainframe and delete all entries from the BYAP forum :P

(We expect to be well compensated for this Joel :P 8 growbeds each should do it! ;))

Yeah, this is where I first heard of them Roz, just deep into the what is it 10 page thread now? I meant one of those interesting, you're not allowed to post replies to threads :-) That just state the info.

kenny, delivery is subjective, depending on where you are, the distribution centre is in Footscray I think, so they decided it was cheaper to deliver to me than to ballarat cos it's on the way-ish :-) very ish imho, but Simon said it was fine.

:-D
You are seriously my new best friend... If you are ever in Melbourne, I'll buy you a beer or 6 :-)

8 for me, 1 for Ingrid, the lady I brought to Jim's... She's still working on internet at home, so hasn't got a login.

Get yourself a wheelbarrow and a rake... It will make the first 95% a breeze... do your lot in 3 hours without touching the gravel once with your hands.

Well... I started! This works pretty well, was doing it for like 10 minutes and filled up a bit! But this bug I got told me to go inside and lay down and have ice cream... If I can drag my aching bones out of bed tomorrow, hopefully I'll get everything FINITO!!!

I wonder if I could "borrow" one of those baskets at our local supermarket. Now that's how I'll be washing my gravel in future !!
