Looking good. Like the GB's. Are you going to have fish in the tanks under the GB, if so are you planing on cutting an access door. I like that most fittings these days match. Put a PVC fitting on with a dab of silicone and then cut the wrong bit. Tried to get the fitting off but decided not to self destruct it. Went and got a new one. Leave the spare for a calmer day.

Hi fish lovers, sorry about the wait getting back to you guys......I had a great talk with Joel the other day and I'm glad to see the direction of this forum.. Information flowing back and forth for all to improve their own skills. I know I have learnt a lot from all of ewes hehe on here over the past couple of years and am sure I will still learn the hard way a few times myself   as all systems are different. I only hope that my two bobs worth can help others as well.....

well enough of the praises and dribble lets get on with it..for those asking where

The Fiberglass beds come from Ajay fibreglass, Alstonville, NSW, these beds come standard as 2.4mtrs but he has just finished his adjustable moulds so he can make anything up to 6mtrs long x 1.2 wide internal... mine are 3mtrs to go with the GB/Tanks and will hold approx 28 bags of clay
The FT 2x5000ltr, 2500ltr and 1000ltr are from Duraplas,Alstonville, NSW, all roughly 900mm deep 2.8mtrs dia, 2.4mtrs dia, 1.4mtrs dia and all come with stand/bed for access to pipes....
The GB/Tanks are from Bundy Tanks, Bundaberg, Qld The tanks has over 1600ltr holding capacity for your rain water, bore etc and the top bed is approx 520ltr and takes 12 bags of clay @ 45ltr bags
All up over $20,000 spent so yes I won't give up on it...
mind you I was talking to a Helpful guy up north that had over 5000 jades in one pond, he was saying that he had spent over the 350,000 mark and he has ended up going back to contracting paying better bread and butter...
The way I figure it is if I had the $20,000 in the bank I'd only get maybe $30 pw interest... we eat more than that in fruit, veges and fish...
So this is a better investment....Fun for the kids to...
