Hey jack. Love what you have done so far. I would love to see more detail on your concrete sump.

Glad you figured out the youtube thing!

Looks kinda like you are flooding some of those beds a bit deep, I was seeing water over the media? Are they on timed F&D or siphons? The veggies look great in any case!

Thanks everyone!!! I am really excited about doing more soon.
@ deja
the sump became a rainwater chatchment with a welded lid- I have also used it recently as storage for water changes when I had to bring the talapia inside for the winter. Things are still in the works- but for now it is being repurposed. If you have some specific questions- I'd be happy to answer them.
@ tclynx
I only use bells- but yes, the bed is slightly flooded in the video- I had just pulled the siphon and it usually takes one full cycle before it resets to the appropriate height-haven't figured that one out- but it happens every time- 'good eye'
@ simo
All good things to those who wait.~
BTW have you seen the 'Pus the lotion on it's skin' parody video/song on dailymotion.com?

Hey Jacl,

Just wondering, how do you go with stepping on on the concreted top? Doesn't bend and crack at all?

It doesn’t bend or crack at all. I welded the frame and tie wired three layers of expanded metal lath. After that I put a three inch coat of fibered cement. It will eventual have another two inches of cement and epoxy paint on the inside. JON
