I've found the Buy Swap Sell on facebook (if you use it) to be really good for stuff. Generally everything you could want comes up at one time or the other...

Be interesting to see how the polycarbonate sheeting goes over something like glass.
Will you be keeping track of inside and outside temperatures F&F ?

wow, that will ripen tomatoes. Plan B will need to be a venting option for when it gets too hot ;-)

actually forget the plants, with cold days we are having at present would be worth moving in there ;-)
then have an excuse for cold beer.

does it hold the heat - or is that just the full sun temp then dives once sun goes down ?
not much insulation in poly I wouldn't think.

You are right it dives once the sun goes down
In the last house I had a full ally'eden' glass house and when it was 00 outside it was maybe 1 inside
You need a heat sink ,I am going to heat the insulated garden beds also the water sump during the day and use it at night
I also have a nat gas hothouse heater it has a thermostat so when the setting is reached it turns down
Gas is just along the shed wall 20 ft away
Heres photo of the heater I picked it up from an real old traditional glass house that was being demolished years ago in Toorak Melbourne

That looks great FF. How cold does it get in your neck of the woods ?

Just on the side, I allways love it, if I see pictures, which show that I am not the only one with a nice junk yard around the house :D
For never know what you can use it for, don't ya ?
