On the plus side, It's big enough that I'm hoping the little tip truck will be able to dump it gently directly in. But I doubt that particular plan is going to end well :)

Then I have a high pressure hose that I'm going to employ to make it look a bit like I'm giving my gravel a bit of a rinse. Getting gravel tomorrow morning so I'm hoping its going to rain so I can divert a few gutters to was it well. Its looking stormy now so it might just all come together with me being as lazy as I can.

I might even drink beer when miss nature washes my gravel for me.

Or... the truck will gently tap the side of the Gb tipping it into the river at the bottom of the garden.

Last night I put some water in my new grow bed to weigh it down a little in the hope that the truck might be able to unload directly into it. It due here any second. And this morning an eco system had sprung to life. There were a few deaths, some beasties getting on with their lives, and this. My first entirely new life form to have evolved in my back yard :)

Anyone know what these are? Each cluster is the size of a very small maggot perhaps a little over 1mm. The glass jar they are in is a small spice jar.

There were 4 clusters all grouped together.

Its not often you get to mark out 3 square metres of clean space and see what lives, dies, and gets born within 12 hours against a high contrast background.

Tired

Punch the next person who gives road workers who lean on shovels a hard time. Shovels keep you from falling own.

That stainless steel thing is for draining steamed vegetables not washing gravel.

And its after me.

The gravel!

And another thing's a thing to fear!

Run

Even the rake!

Even the rake!

And sleep now, the sun'l come up again sure its to'o!

Feeling like I really should have finished the task but was too stuffed to deal with the last 100kg

:)

I thought it might rain today. The weather people said it would. So I figured leaving it on the ground, and it would wash itself.

Lousy fine weather.

But I had a blackout today for 2 hours. I got all excited because I have battery backup.

So I had a win even though I did nothing.
