Sorry to hear about your goldies, they were my favorite!

*frack*

Oh well, .... and I never cus really...?

Sorry to hear about your uncle also.

Jehovah's Witnesses believe in resurrection into Earthly Paradise, and all persons will grow young again to perfect health. (This is what I believe, not what 'christians' believe that we all go to heaven...just fyi).

Anyways, take care, look forward to hearing how you cope with this disaster...!

There are always more fish in the sea (or the aquarium store).

jeff c

(P.S. You do know that I have lost some fish since I started also...I lost a neon tetra...I lost one dwarf african frog...and I lost one Dalmatian pleco...)

Hey, thanks for the thoughts guys, I appreciate it. Tommies are doing well, fruit setting even some ripening downstairs. Babies doing quite well. Will make an update video over the weekend to show you guys. Got the three tubs up on my roof now but sadly one seems much larger than the other two so I doubt if myoeifinal plan for arranging them, but will figure something out over the weekend.

Thanks Richard :] The rain has yet to cease, the water went down on the 10th but its back today, 1-2 inches expected today, I had a look at the weather satellite pictures and it didn't look pretty.

So I've put together a video of the flooding today along with the weather satellite images for today, is uploading so will post it in an hour or so.

But that's not the exciting bit of news that I have.

As I mentioned before there are still a few tilapia fry in the bathtub AP system, saw one of them when I went up to check the roof overflows, but that's still not the exciting news. Its relevant to note that the one that I saw was maybe twice the size of the fry I have in the aquarium which you can see in my last video but it was still very much a baby.

We found a crack in my sister's room's roof so to be on the safe side emptied the bathtub AP GB of water just to be on the safe side.

Once had done this, which was simply achieved by unscrewing the threaded PVC fitting in the outlet back to the bathtub FT, I was just walking by the system again when I saw a juvenile tilapia on the floor between the two AP GBs!!! I was shocked! I've never seen that fish before, was not a baby definitely a proper fish. No idea how he got there or how long he had been on the floor. Quickly scooped him up and put him into the smaller AP FT. He seemed fine albeit freaked out.

Was a really good looking fish with the stripes and all, lets see if he manages to make it through the night in there, and my house remains afloat till morning, will see if I can catch him on video once there is daylight up there.

Hope you guys are having a good week, drive safe :D
