No....

Also how do you keep the water from going green with out a lid on the FT?

None of our systems have lids and none go green, at least not when they are mature. New systems do but not these older ones.

Sorry guys can someone answer my question whether you can mix barra and cod?

Both Barra and Cod... are ambush feeders... and both have big mouths...

If either has a mouth bigger than the other... then they'll probably eat the other...

Overall it's probably best not to mix species, especially not aggressive ones... This doesn't mean you can't, but you can have more issues when you mix them.

I found my first batch of SP to be extremely hardy. They travelled 700km by road and have been moved from FT to FT about 6 times in the last year, they have had petrol poured in their FT, they fight through our freezing winters and blistering summers, they had to co-habitate with trout for a number of months and finally survived the great power outagage of 2011. 7 hours without aeration. Dam these boys are tough.

Not sure about Barra sorry. :thumbleft:
