Anyone can tell me what's the causing of plant that grow little roots? I germinate my seeds in a germination soil first then after 5 days when its 2cm tall I transplant the seedlings in a sponge and put on my dwc system. I notice most of my plants have weak and fewer roots. Any solutions?

I'm not going to be much help I'm afraid, the roots look healthy to me in terms of color. I can't tell much about the top growth to see how large the roots should be at this stage so it's tough to judge what's going on. What are you comparing them to? I suspect since you posted this awhile back that these have grown and lengthened considerably. When you make the switch the plants have to alter their roots to adapt to the new environment so there might be a lag at that point while the roots adjust.

Thanks for ur input. I just noticed that the plants that is near to my aeration stone is growing just fine. Others away from aeration stone will just not growing.. Now im doing experiment by putting 1inch pvc pipe into the dwc and put styrofoam on top of the pvc pipe and theres about 1-2cm gap from the water, hope the roots will find it's way to the water.. I just realized the dwc needs to be heavy aerated in order to have good root growth which is not very energy efficient. I have nft and dwc system and with nft system the roots will grow faster than dwc
