There's more than enough food to feed the whole population, It's just not distributed well..

A little like wealth.

I've seen a lot of pretty bodgey and disgraceful attempts to leverage the aquaponics concept for gain before...

But the AquaponicsGlobal Society Facebook group has hit a new low IMO...

Attempting to cloud source funding of $6million... by leveraging against the unfolding humanitarian disaster in the Phillipines...

Not more of a scam than that of the UN, US, GB and a bunch of other Western countries.

These people need immediately food and water to survive. What do these idiots send there? US send planes to take their citizens out first. They arrive empty!

UN and GB sending luxury mobile offices with airco's and heavy generators for their own people. Including Western food supplies for the hard working "helpers". Throw in some nice Land Cruisers etc. and the farce is complete.

All aid measured in money, not in tons of food or cubes of potable water. Screw these global scammers! :upset:

funny the way no one thinks of the animals who now have no food or water either.
its just all about how much people can hand over to the humans who overpopulated the area...... making every disaster worse than it should be.....

I think there are a few logical contradictions in this statement.

If there were less humans there would be more wild animals so therefore there would be more wild animal deaths. So apparently this would mean that the disaster would not be as bad as it was. Which means that apparently wild animals dying is not as bad as domestic animals and people dying. Which is at odds with the concern about the animals not having food or water.

Confused.

Bugger... there goes the market for bamboo cages and high tech aquaponics watering holes then...

And I've got bloody containers full of them...

Looks like I'll have to start a "suckerstarter" campaign to get rid of them.. or pray for another natural disaster...

Yeah, let's do that. You'll be the AP consultant and I'll be the Coordinator. To make it perfect we should have also an Action Planner, On-Site Observer, Construction Manager, Water Manager, Plants and Fish Manager, Legal Advisor, Team Coordinator(s), Site-Manager, PR Manager, Government Liaison, Presidential Suite, and some proper Land Cruisers to transport them all.

Maybe contact HAARP to get info about the next disaster due?

Oh, and to gain more support we need some Animal Rescue Managers too.

Most other makes of aquaponics systems do not cater for the needs of fish. The Fish Vet's system puts the health and welfare of fish at the forefront and does not hinder the productivity of plants.

Unless he has some other filter attached to the system I don't see how it "puts the health and welfare of fish at the forefront". I would have said the complete opposite.. :dontknow: ..

Yeah... sadly "aquaponics" is becoming a joke...

Saw a recent post by the admin of the "aqauponics survival" group... that suggested that "many people don't have, or need, a biofilter on their aquaponics system"... then a link to a kindle e-book about "7 ways to improve the health of your fish"....

There is just so much uneducated garbage out there these days... and all of it for a cost..
