Hi all, and thanks to all the brains, time and passion of those who have beavered away and experimented with all sorts of amazing ideas. What a fabulous site.

We finally put our system together and it seems to be working - so we are planning one for the back above the deck - you can read about it here - https://sites.google.com/site/paultmcka ... aquaponics

And of course we are interested in any thoughts others might have.

That way we build a library of aquaponic systems from all over the world... in one place...

And everyone knows to come here...

woops I should have put this up ages ago - we have built a couple more systems since (so that's six at our place and a big one at a buddies place). Nways eres a vid of us on Vasili's a year ago - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=izAA2X1vtZY

The systems are going well - updates might include
- we are over silver perch and were successful in applying for a permit for barra in Melbourne - hope to try this starting November ish
- installed a vortex aerator though not sure how effective it is
- installed a vortex solids remover and this works well
- the new systems at our place use pond liners for the grow beds and tanks - much cheaper and more flexible

cheers

Was obviously time for an update Paul
Love the growbed on the roof, a real attention getter. Well done.
