This time not the phone but the plant. Just thought I would start a thread as I have just put a thornless blackberry into the ibc system bed that is against the back fence. Everything else in this system is booming on charlie carp and pee, so will be interesting to see how this plant grows.

Just put it in. Have tried to grow them here in the dirt but they dont like the hot climate, so hoping the constant water in the ap will keep it happy. Love blackberries, well , most berries

Mantis, how hot is your climate? I live in the Deep South in the US and we're covered up in blackberries. Perhaps it's RH? Our RH is in the 80-95% range most of the time lol.

Himalayan Blackberries are a weed here in Oregon (cool maritime climate). The birds spread the seed everywhere. On the up side the berries taste great and honey production from bees is at it's best when the blackberries are in bloom.

We get very hot and dry summers here. An arid climate zone and lots of plants suffer badly in the summer. Not far south of here when you cross the dividing range into a cooler climate blackberries are a major weed threat LOL
