Went for a fishing/camping trip over the weekend and had to stop when I discovered it was a dolphin hunting spot. Locals told me it was a regular thing and that they would steal anything you hook.
They want to keep it Mum so I'll defer to them on that and describe it only as a "South East Queensland" location but I still gotta share the view 4 metres from the tent.
Special place indeed.
They chase thousands of bream hard up against the rocks and get stuck into them.
They seemed to come to the light, I'm guessing the fish are blinded when the light is in front of the dolphins and are startled and easier to catch but that the dolphins can still hunt by echo location. Only guessing though and didn't light 'em up too much, mainly did it for the vid (terrible quality as usual).

When ever we go fishing on the flats and a pod of dolphin show up, it's time to leave. They're fish eating machines.
