I think that kind of fish is amazing and scary at the same time. Look a the speed they taking fish out of the water. And if anyone one where I can find the documentary containing this footage I would be really happy.

And pole fishing is the only ethical way of catching tuna

They only use the poles... because it's just to hard for them to try and harpoon them...

Na, they cant afford trawlers and nets anymore...

I think I will use tuna in my ap system. I just have find a big enough fish tank.

Those are a common catch here locally. They're known as Aku here. They're okay but nothing great. People like to smoke or dry the meat. Dried aku is a local style beer snack. The meat has a darker, I guess bloodier, taste than the larger tunas.

Many years ago I was invited to a Japanese tuna farm. Offshore from North Africa.
A two kilometer net guided the tuna towards net holding pens.
Here they were fed on frozen fish. The feeding frenzy attracted sea gulls and they too were eaten by the tuna. Snatched from the air!
At harvest time there was a boat on each side of the pen. The crew would bring in the net gradually reducing the size of the pen.
The tuna were then killed and winched on board.
Pick axes firearms harpoons and ice hooks were used. The sea was red.
Eighteen hours later they would be in the fish market in Tokyo.
I was filming this with an old style video tape camera.
Unable to avoid the splashing both I and the VCR were soaked.
The water upset the colour balance and everything took on a purple hue.
Purple haze! We have moved on a bit since then,.Thank God
