Won't be for a while Jeremy as it is a side project we are busy breeding chickens and rabbits. There is likely to be an aquaponics bug book out first :)

I'd say the AP bug book is next, it's becoming quite large and we've been working hard at it, about 90 pages so far. The AP bug book we will be charging for downloads, though not a lot, probably under $10. Barrel AP manual is still a little way off, we have some basics worked out and the general framework for it, but compiling all the info from the forum systems is going to take a while, and we have to keep some money coming in through other means to pay the rent.

Next BYAP mag edition is pretty much done, due for final reviews over the next week or so, then off to the printers. The following edition is pretty much finished as well, so it should follow fairly quickly.

We also have a number of other new electronic publications we'll be bringing out in the very near future. Stay tuned..... A cook book? Maybe down the track a little bit..

I love the guide but you've made searching for "free" places to find "ibc" a bit daunting.... :)

Yes, more and more businesses who have them are starting to see their value, we've found them a little more difficult to get, with prices going up quite a bit, even when buying in bulk. But then sometimes it starts pouring. I think at the moment we have about 25 of them here...

If this 'Bug Book is half as good as the IBC one, it'll be well worth paying for. :notworthy:
Also, roughly how long to the next AP Mag ? I'm starving for some more good reading!! :D

Cheers
Leon

Heya everyone,
I would like to thank you for this extensive guide. It is packed knowledge and ultra helpful. Now I was thinking we will need this around the globe so I would like to offer my help to translate it into the German language, at least the basic information parts of it. Is this idea welcome? If so, do you need the text and then swap it or should I do this myself and send you the "final" thing?

I would like to add that I am NOT going to sell this information but pass it out for free as I do not any longer consider the monetary system to be a vital part of the world community. It is in fact the biggest generator of inequality, deprivation and poverty because it requires scarcity and inefficiency to function. And inefficiency and AP don't go hand in hand.

much love from Germany
Marius

Hi Marius,

That would be fantastic...

If you can provide us with translations we can put them in the document then make the German version available, We'll put your name in the front as part of the acknowledgements as well.

Actually, that's not a bad idea, perhaps we should see if we can get it translated into a couple of other languages as well..

Let me know if there's anything you need Marius..

Cool!

I am part of a world wide sustainability movement, called the Zeitgeist Movement, and I am coordinating the German division of the global linguistic team. I do not want to promise anything yet, BUT we advocate the use of technology in an open source manner to benefit the whole of humanity, not just a select few who have the purchasing power. Hence, it would be logical to use our 83 language teams to translate this beautiful guide into all languages.

I love how it is a PRACTICAL GUIDE rather than theoretical concepts, so let me see what the lingusitic team thinks about it.

Anyways, I will be starting translations and get back to you as soon as a good portion is done.
Thanks for everything you guys and girls have done. The world is changing for the better and we're all part of it.

much love from "Germany"
Marius

Someone asked recently about how the IBC system was going, here are a few pictures... The plants are such a thick mass you can hardly get a hand in there..

Hard to get a photo of the trout, doesn't really work... They are doing really well in this system.

The IBC system has done exceptionally well since the greening phase cleared up, we only have 2 trout left in it at the moment as we wanted to harvest most of them out before the hot weather hit them.

Plants are getting a little out of control...
