Hi, I'm new here and looking for help in Brisbane

Hello All
I do not currently have a aquaponic setup but I am desperately keen to get one going.
Is there any one in my area that could help me?
I'm keen to buy either a kit or put together one with parts.
I'm not so keen on the IBC set-ups but could be convinced if evidence was 100% positive.

Depends on the budget realy. Nothing wrong with the IBC's mate, IMHO just make sure they are food grade.

They provide a relatively low cost option, have durable tank liners and strong outer frames and bases. I am a big fan of them due to the budget around here. You can dress them up as much or as little as you like.

If the budget was in better shape I would have a *sigh* BYAP system or two in the back yard (maybe when I'm grown up).

Another consideration would be the amount of time you want to spend building it. I love tinkering and making things, so to me its a great hobby just continualy giving me new projects and learning experiences along they way.

If I couldnt find the time to do it all DIY, or didnt like the practical stuff I would have to try harder to find the funds for the store bought option. :wave:
