I dropped into Hastings Produce last week and they had flyers advertising rainbow trout for sale this weekend - Saturday 30th May from 10am.

I rang the folks at Australian Rainbow Trout Farm (fishfarm.com.au) who are selling the fish and they're $2.50 ea for a 6-9" fish, so juvenile sizes and no fingerlings. They're also selling 1kg bags of food for $6.

No affiliation here, just thought I'd share the info. I'm local to Hastings and will be dropping in to grab a few for my dam as my AP system is a ways off being ready.

Cheers! :)

Those fish prices arent bad, but the food is a little overpriced.

they normally sell fish (yearlings) for $2 and a 20kg bag of food used to be $80 (i think it has gone up a little).

nice and convenient if you dont want too many fish, but if you are getting a decent amount, better to go for the drive i think.
