I want to make a hole in a new HDPE tank I got for fry and fingerling trout transporting.

I guess I am hoping these plugs which fit inside a 4" pipe will expand out another 3/8" for the kerf of the hole saw.
Anyone have experience with this issue? BTW a 4" bulkhead on Amazon is around $200 or more so I ain't going to do a big bulkhead for my hand to fit though.

I have the 4" holesaw and I can fit my hand in so that I can screw the bottom piece of the the other port where'll there will be a bulkhead connector for a snorkel. The second hole will also be for where the bubbler air line enters. The 4" hole is for adding and removing the fingerlings and fry.

why not go for a canoe/kayak/boat screw access hatch. They screw shut and could easily be used.
Don't seem to cost too much - eBay has them between $10 and $20.

Indeed this looks like a better solution. Thank you so much.
