 Post subject: Stair stepping grow beds

Questions on this. So if I had a grow bed empty into another grow bed like a a stair step using gravity would the initial grow bed strip the water of nutrients before reaching the second grow bed? Like would the nitrates be used up before the second bed had a chance. Thanks.

Yep that would be fine, nutrient uptake isn't that fast.

Edit: This assumes you are keeping it running constantly or on a regular basis of course :)

If the lower GBs don't drain as fast as the higher ones for any reason, then lower GBs will be overflowing, unless you have alternative backup drains.
