thanks jessy.... I like the things to look good as well as work well...

getting closer to putting the first bed together.... got one more long side to sand and seal....

I drilled out the end panels and ready to attach them... will use 3" galvanized screws and then seal the hole up with silicone....

I have to travel 2 1/2 hours north to help setup a barrel system.... so will be gone all day saturday, so no work on the WB until sunday

I had to go to cary, nc (2 1/2 hour drive) and help a guy set up his 4 barrel system.... he is now in for all the fun of washing rocks... :support:

so this morning I got the last side wall out and got it sanded and in the process of getting it clear coated....

while waiting for first side to dry, I pulled out one of the Reservoirs and got it wrapped

The water wicks up through the soil similar to the way a lamp wick brings the oil reserve up to the flame.

I did not understand your last sentence,no need to shorten words.

F&F - yea I believe it will be lined, the blue mat on the floor is just a weed mat.

Zane - it isnt connected to the AP system. You just fill with water through standpipe and the bottom becomes a reservoir which wicks up to the soil.

hey F&F

yes I have the liner material ready to go in.....

the old pool liner is just a ground cover to keep down the weeds....

after I get all the WB's in then I will mulch between them.... just to make it look nice

Know your feeling for the rain, another week of it and expected to rain all weekend as well. Trust you enjoy your sisters visit and the weather is on your side.
