I built a "standard" IBC set up with 300L grow bed and 700L fish tank.

File comment: Give the liner and cage a few coats of some outdoor pain i had laying arround.
Had to lightly sand the whole linner and apply plastic primer first.

While i had this system running with trout over the winter i started on clearing the site for a multi ibc system.
Had to take down and old shed to get it in a good spot that should recieve enough light during the winter yet not be right in the middle of our lawn.
Had to bring the level down a bit to alow for future landscaped level of the block though

I wasnt very happy with the ease that paints scratches of the plastic of an IBC liner but still wanted to protect them from UV damage.
I decided to clad the IBCs in recycled colourbond salvaged from roadside pick up. Also took the opportunity to ad some insulation around the liners between the cage and cladding.

This is where things stalled for a long time and once i go going again i forgot to take any good pictures im afraid.
I have since built 2 "Standard" IBC growbed and fish tank set ups and have connected both FT/sumps with 50mm pvc pipe from there drains. The growbed portions on top are fed by a 90mm SLO from the fish tank and at the moment i have a 25mm ringmain on 1 of the grow beds to distribute the water. This has a ball valve on it to restrict the flow at the moment and the extra flow goes to the second grow bed.
Hopefully i will be able to take some good pictures of it tomorrow.
Eventually i plan to have 4 of these Growbed over sump sets ups all hooked up to the SLO and draining from their IBC drain valves into the the one sump with the pump in it.
This will let me be able to keep fingerlings of different sizes or species in different sumps or yabbies/marron.
A small gutter guard insert on the opening to the valvein each IBC stops the critters trying to swim into the pipework linking it all together.

I will have to give the system a bit of a tidy up today and take some better pictures.
I guess finally biting the bullet and buying the tapatalk app is on the cards too.
