Ok so I understand Troutman has no sp's in stock so the BYAP/Cheldys carpark sale for sp's isn't on this year which is disappointing as I did want to stagger my stocks but you get that.

Wait up, what's this?
https://www.facebook.com/pages/Chapman-Valley-Fishing-Park/305904589591149?hc_location=timeline Thanks matthew.

So why hasn't something been officially said by Cheldys? Not even a thread on this forum?
I'd like to order some fish but have not heard of this supplier before. Any advice on fish quality?

I see he says, 'Black bream for sale, ideal for aquaponics'. Yeah right, ideal if you are a vegetarian!

Quite right Mattyoga, my blackbream are few years old now, have survived quite well , great to look at ,and I think quite suitable for those that don't want to kill their pets or are vego. Plenty of people have ornamental set-ups...
As for fish from Chapman Park , I don't know anything about them but their photos on the facebook page looks quite professional....
Maybe take one for the team Skeggly, if they are making a run down from Gero you wont be the only one...
But I don't get why seamonkey hasn't mentioned this before....

 Sorry I havnt posted for a while. My ears must have been burning as I havnt checked the forum for a couple of weeks.
Im not quite sure what I can and cant post seeing that the shop is no longer BYAP but I guess I can say that yes Leanne from Chapman Valley has come down to the shop with SP fingerlings. I can put orders in or you can ring her directly. I am hoping Gav will soon be back onboard with his fish soon.

Leanne will come down once a month for deliveries and you have to be here to collect them and pay her for them either over the phone or cash on the day. Her fingerlings are about 5-7cm and are $3.00 each.

I cannot fishsit as my tanks are full so you have to be here to collect. She bags them with plenty of air so you dont need esky or airator just get the bag home asap. The fish appear very healthy and active and I havnt had any feedback re problems with them.

Her next delivery is on the 6th December at 12midday so if anybody wants them contact Leanne at the Chapman Valley Fish Farm.

P.S I have some seconds growbeds for $300.00 :bootyshake:

Sue, go for your life, part of buying out the shop allows you to let locals know about fish sales and any cheap bits and pieces you have available...

Not for your benefit of course, but rather for the benefit of the locals here in W.A.... :-P

Glad to see that someone else is running a bream species. 8)
Did you get yours onto pellets? I only have floating pellets and haven't bothered yet.

Thanks EB. I do have signs in the shop and have done for over a month about SP supplies but wasnt sure about putting it on forum. I guess it is ok cos we are only supplying a place for everyone to pick the fish up. Gav will be back on track next year so our carpark / sausage sizzle will be cranking. :wave1:
P.S I will log in more regularly and sneak in some specials
