Hello Rob,
Have a question regarding your system, you mentioned back that you think it was potassium and calcium deficiencies causing the problem. Did you supplement your system with potassium?

I did not add potassium or calcium. I added iron which looked like it was the issue with yellowing from before.

Also for the area I live. Green tomatoes has been very common this season.

A little better everyday and somedays worse. Upper chest and upper back is very tight like if something is sitting on it. Standing for long periods I feel it in my lower back. Were my knees hit the dash there are still tender indention. Over all lucky that the car got the worst of it.

Total of 3 impacts, hit from behind into the car in front and hit from behind by another car. $20, 000 estimate for repair. My guess that I was hit wile stopped at 50-60mph.

I'm glad you are okay. I'm scared this is going to happen to me. Since I moved to STL in July I've seen some real nutter butters driving these roads.

EDIT: Side note bro, have you seen any Black Soldier Flies here? I am unable to find a solid answer about whether or not we have them here. I'd like to try them as a supplementary food source come summer.

I have herd about black soldier flys in St Louis, I have not seen any or payed attention.

I thought about buying them online and set up to encourage the local ones to come. Never set up a trap this year to start.

I moved the 4 catfish inside over the weekend and moved the 4 that were in the inside AP system over also over to the 65g acrylic tank. Goldfish I am leaving outside as long as I can for now. 30g indoor system was starting to injure the catfish because of being crowded.

The pleco that was moved in weeks before got a treat. The SLO from the outdoor system covered in algae. I lost one of the catfish last night to some thing. Thought it was from pleco eating slime coat but looks like something else.

The goldfish are still outside in the IBC. Catfish inside have taken a shitty turn. The Large Pleco is gone and I am down to only 3 maybe 2 catfish by the end of today.

Something happened not sure why a massive die off. 30% water change and added a heater because the room temps are in the lower 60*F so far not good. No high hopes for these guys.

Don't enemy know why I bothered with bring in the goldfish over the weekend for them to die the next day.

Less than 24 hours from bring them in 7 dead goldfish. Netted out the fish into a bucket of their water. Brought that inside. Water temp 43*F let this sit in room temp for a gradual increase in temp for an hour. Added same amount of other tank water to bucket. Let this sit for half hour. Finally added fish. Fish seem happy with new tank. I leave for the night to do 3D print parts all night. Com back home Sunday 16:00 goldfish are dead and catfish is still the Highlander.

Has not been that long to make fish look so nasty. They have a white slimy funk on them.

So much for trying to keep this batch of fish for next year.

This tank had issues from before. I thought those issues had been solved after I was down to the last catfish and had multiple water changes.

Sorry to see the fish bite the dust. I wonder if they tried to hide under the perforated pipe at the bottom. That would cause them to lose scales and would be a likely location for mold spores of some type. It would also be difficult to clean. Since they are clustered there it seems likely. Maybe the lights too bright or they got spooked in their new location and that's the only cover :dontknow:

Shop light is only used for checking on tank. Mostly use ambient room light. Ph is low. Other than that not shur what is going on.

I started up the outdoor system a few weeks ago. No Fish No Plants yet. Just letting water recirculate and letting algae grow on the sides of the IBC tote. As soon as the water temps can be more stable I will add "NEW" fish and see if i can do a trade on the ONE catfish for more catfish.

Only one real change to the system right now. I had dual SLO, now it is just one. I cut the pipe to have a drain and added a valve that I can later on hook a hose to and drain everything. Cap the SLO to make a siphon. Pull the center pipe out of the RFF and open valve and should empty everything when it is time to do a winter shutdown. This was done last month but never made a post.

Something I designed last year. Not sure if I posted it on here at all. If someone can use it glad to help.
