Andreas Garden is actually named after my daughter her Thai name is Vichada but her daily name is Andrea, so you have Andrew and Andrea Whitchurch.

I know That because I read through your entire thread and it was in there, just picking on a few people that I see that seem to think you are Andreas still... Like San Andreas

Wife cuts open another tomato to find more seeds germinated. Put me into action. Fastest solution I could think of....now to get the aquarium light set up and who knows?

I have been wanting to get something going as far as a herb garden, this may of kickstarted that project?!?

Most of the calcs are done (although I am still just winging some aspects to save money)

System is not the best case scenario and room for improvements.

Running to go pickup the last bit of materials and will be tying everything together to get this expansion officially underway......

I thought the seedling was from our AP system tomato, but it is actually from a terrestrial farmer that I grabbed produce from when I ran to go get some hay. I am half tempted to send this pic to him after hearing all the heartache he endures (but loves) to get his crops growing...

So, get ready to head out the door, and has been raining for 1 hour now. My old water feature has collected almost 1500 gallons of water. Already behind the 8 ball for capturing water off the roof for AP supplementation....there is always something.

that would be a pretty ideal setup for herb garden... I am very tempted to set up a couple of small beds in my fishroom to help clean/filter the water... I bought two small plastic totes that I drilled a hole in and installed a bulkhead fitting in, I just haven't taken the time to plumb them... and I think I would probably run hydroton in them just due to weight sitting on top of my aquariums, so would need to run to the hydroponics store which I don't really have money for right now.... maybe by winter...

Six little koi are what is in the tank at the momment. Took the 12 that were in and put into the IBC expansion. Managed to find everything that I needed locally for a bit more than big box, but save in gas and over 2.5 hours in drive time.

Just changed about 100 gallons out and thought I had some PH reducer, but all out and going to get busy in the am.

It has been raining/flooding all day today with more to come in the evening hours.

So MAJOR storm event today......pond was almost empty....
Image

Hail go upto marble size and punched some holes into the primary layer of the GH film that created the air gap for insulating purposes.
Image

pretty much beat up all of our fruit trees/bushes for an early fall.
Image

Chickens stayed inside. 2/3 horses maintained coverage within the barn, but one could not decide if being beat with hail was a good thing or not

still trying to get expansion system running correctly. I had reduced flow in my surface skimmer and could not figure it out? So I pulled apart, and one of the koi had been sucked up through a 1 1/2, but I only had 1/2" exposed to the water. Did not feel like much suction taking place, but I freed and put in the sump to watch incase it was not going to make it.....I now have a grate over it so unless you are fry, you will not be gaining access anymore.

Hopefully one more day of rain type weather, and then it'll dry out (some) so I can get back after it.....

Andy, the people who have only skimmed over your thread instead of actually reading the entire thing are going to be so confused as to why your certificate says your name is Andrew instead of Andreas =)

I'm not sure that "perscribed" is a word though... is that latin? LOL. Ryan should probably use spellcheck. I'd ask for a 50% refund for having your certificate typo'd

Ahem... that was no typo :)

Thanks. After Irma for you, this is a walk in the park by comparison.

Just hard watching the hail hit/shred everything in its path.
