Hi everyone!
I just bought a house in Baker, Louisiana. The original owner set up an amazing system. Unfortunately, it has fallen into disrepair. I am looking for someone local who knows about this stuff to help me get it back to where it needs to be. It is five large fiberglas tanks, with an interesting pump system. It also seems to be connected to a water wheel and large blue plastic drums filled with lava rocks for filtration.
It appears everything is there, and I recently discovered a switch on the house electrical panel marked pumps, so I am guessing that is where it is powered from. I am a science guy, but engineering is not really my forte. I will try to post pictures as soon as I am able.
I know I am going to have to drain and clean them, as they are currently full of duck seed, lily pads and tadpoles. But I really think this system needs to be brought back to its former glory.
Thanks all,
LLS
