dallas is about 300 miles inland from the coast so we dont get hurricanes.. sometimes we get rain but harvey went east to LA and MS so we didnt get much of that either... it was a mild winter it only hit 100 F a few times this year.. usually its low 100's for ~2 months july and aug

not a lot of updates. But i am still here. There just hasnt been a lot of interesting developments.

These are not the same crappie from before.. these were started inmspring 2017 so they are about 2 years old. They are in the 5-7" range now... Out of 200 crappie i have under 20 left.

The future plans for these guys is to try to reproduce them in aquariums like i did with the bluegill and red eared sunfish (see my reproducing sunfish threadl) I will separate these into two breeding groups.. A small group of 5 or 6 will go into a 200 gallon demo system i have on my back porch ad the rest will stay in that 700 gallon ferrocement tank
