James' system

James had a long area that was unused at the back of his garden, this was ideal for an aquaponics system. Maneuvering the large system components to where they needed to go was a challenging task. The team had fun navigating the components through the garden and up the hill.

Each growbed is positioned to be 15cm lower than the last, so that they follow the slope of the land. The large 3000 litre fish tank can hold up to 100 fish and the four growbeds will produce plenty of fresh produce for James and his family.
