Serventys' system
Serventy organic winery wanted to grow fresh fruits and vegetables for the staff and family involved in the winery. They built a very impressive hot house with state of the art electronic controls and automation specifically for food production systems.

Having such an impressive structure to house the aquaponic system is well worth the effort if you have the money. Such a structure simplifies the maintenance and allows the user to grow out of season crops and extend the growing seasons.

The structure controls every aspect of the climate inside the building; it can be set to replicate frost or a hot summer. Having such control over everything can capitalize on the productivity of the system as ideal specifications can be set, which encourage fast and healthy growth.

However the same or similar can be achieved in a well planned outdoor system.
