James had a lovely courtyard location which was under utilized so decided to put it to some good use and have a courtyard system installed there.

An ideal location from James’s point of view as well as the install team. James and his family get a great view out the window of the aquaponic system and for the install team, the system is located on a nice firm level surface with lots of space for access.

 

After the clay has been emptied into the growbed it will need a good rinse under the hose to clean the red dust from it.

The day was rather wet, luckily there was shelter nearby to escape the heavy rain showers. A good aspect of aquaponics is that light rain doesn’t adversely effect the system in any way.
