I have a 5000L fish tank and im getting some silver perch to go in it shortly(not sure how many to get as of yet still working on the numbers) after i have set up the circulation filter unit and aerator unit. Im going to let the system stabilise and run for a week or 2 to get the ph right and check temperatures are on point. The tank it self is also covered from direct sunlight so algae shouldn't be a problem.

Any tips or tricks i should know that i should do or perform. after the fish settle in I will add 2 grow bed tables for some leafy vegetables etc
I will also add some pictures as i go so i will keep you all updated

I look forward to the pictures.

Yes, my recommendation is to set up the growbeds before the fish. Get some clear ammonia and complete fishless cycling to establish your bacteria for the nitrogen cycle. Get an API Pondmaster test kit or similar so you can monitor the important water parameters and know when cycling is complete. During this time you should be able to start some leafy greens. Then when cycling is complete you can add fish.

Hiya Cheezy, welcome to the forum.
Yep, agree with DST, gbs before fish.
I have about 60 silvers in my 3kl tank with about 2kl wet media and they are doing just fine. Although you have a larger tank I suggest you work on 1 fish per 20litre of wet media which is pretty much the standard rule of thumb.
Slowly build to the quantity you want by staggering their introduction to mix their sizes.
And, do you like the taste of silver perch?;)
