Ah, the joys of escaping the suburbs forever. 8)

The only 'sales pitches' I've had to endure over the last 2 months since finally 'going bush' are whether I'd like some free plants, goats, horses, ducks, turkeys or chickens, whether I'd like to buy some organic personal care products, or whether I'd like to come to the local pub for a ridiculously cheap 'double happy hour' feed of fresh barramundi and drinks.

It's good to be in the outback. :wink:

I hate it when I go to these ppls place that have those games u play on a TV screen...
Takes u 3 hours to master it all, ur arms & shoulders are busted,
and you have -sorry, the host has runout of bourbons because you've drunk them all and you were to slack to get some from the bottleO
200 mtrs away.

Yeh well you did know that I was going to be on an intimate basis with a drive way by the end of the day...
and I was.. but I didn't like her...
Though she was starting to develop colour by the time I had to leave.. only to return tomorrow to finish her off!

Here in the states we have Craigslist for ranting. Some of it is downright funny. Some of it downright disturbing. I suggest going to teh "Best Of" link first and reading as much as you can handle before splitting a seam. It's good therapy. http://www.craigslist.org/about/best/all/

Thanks for starting this thread EB....here's my rant:

I am so fed up with SUV's. I'm even more fed up with the "escalation of size for the sake of safety" argument. It's like we're back in the Cold War stndoff where everyone thinks having a bigger SUV will protect them....How about this? SLOW DOWN EVERYONE....and buy smaller vehicles...then when I get in an accident with someone I won't be instantly killed because my little Toyota couldn't stop your tractor!

I'm tired of cold weather, taxes and laws that make doing anything difficult. It seems like the only thing that we're given perfect freedom to do is sit around and watch TV and go to the store and buy things.

yeah know that feeling :( i try my hardest not to watch TV anymore cause i think it really is rotting peoples brains, i mean why is it exciting to watch perfect stangers making compleate asses of them selves ?? in a house the cant leave (big brother )

and the other reality TV shows just get worse, who cares if australia's got talent ?
