I am putting together a new system one 1500lt ft two grow beds that are 2m long and 1m wide, with a bell Siphon in each. my question is is it better to have one place for the water to enter the gb or do you run the pvc around the edge of the gb. As i have seen both on the net and not to sure what way to go. :thumbright:

Simpler and cheaper to have one point of water entry and it's worked well for me for years. Mine is at opposite end of GB to the siphon.

I can't say that having multiple points is wrong. But I suspect it's unnecessary.

Will be interested in other comments.

my guess would be that in flood and drain systems with bell siphons etc it doesnt matter at all, while with constant flood systems having a spatially distributed input design might be beneficial to ensure even flow throughout the bed.
